Planning a party is like sky diving - the closer you get to the ground the faster it comes at you! Also planning a party can be highly stressful. So remove the stress by letting us help you organise your party and by giving yourself enough time to make your party as successful as it can be!

2. Budget, budget, budget!

Having a budget is an important element to planning any party, keeping within it is the difficult part! Knowing your budget will tell you where your expectations meet their limitations. However always remember quality over quantity. We at Party Shop strive to provide excellent quality at good prices.

3. Guests

Decide on a rough outline of a guest list. This will help you to see how many people you are catering for. Also, you will be able to see the different types of people you will have at your party so that you can accomodate for different age groups, interests and food preferences.

4. Date and Venue

Next decide on a date and a time for your party. After that, decide on a venue. When choosing a vanue there are a number of things to take into consideration: the atmosphere or vibe of the venue, the space availabe, equipment needed and wheter or not they do their own catering

bun.

*Just a quick note:

Be sure to cater for your vegetarian friends!

*Tip: When hiring a venue, you can save yourself some time and money by checking exactly what the venue provides before ordering the decor from us. For example, check if the venue has overlays and tablecloths that will match your theme. If not, then we can also arrange that for you.

5. Theme It Up!

After having chosen a venue, decide on a theme. Themes do not necessarily have to be specific (such as Alice in Wonderland). Your theme could just be a colour scheme (gold, black and silver). This makes your decor and everything else that little bit easier to organise and all the more effective! You are more than welcome to contact one of our consultants for assistance selecting a creative and original theme.
