Party Preparation Points: (For Children)
- Choose the theme together, set the date, plan the guest list, and let the excitement begin! Involve your child as much as possible, and respect his / her opinions and requests.
Invitations should be distributed about 2 weeks before the party. Remember to include an RSVP by date, so that your preparations for catering, games, etc. can be finalised.
Also include the end time of the party to facilitate punctual collection of the children, and peace of mind for you.
If you are going on an outing, it is important to request a contact number when the parent replies, in case of emergency.
Dress up parties are fun, but try to keep the expectations simple to ensure that all the children will be able to participate, and keep a few items of clothing and accessories on hand for those who fail to arrive in fancy dress.
- Thank you notes are a great courtesy. Your guests will be delighted to receive a note of thanks. Keep the note short. Try to make a note of who gave what while the gifts are being unwrapped.
- Unexpected guests are a certainty! It is a good idea to order a few extra party packs, table settings, etc. so that your unexpected guests do not feel left out.
